The Traveling Eagles was founded in December 1998 by a small group of parents that could not find a competitive baseball organization which allowed their boys to grow further in the sport. With the encouragement and guidance from these parents, the group made the leap into the unknown with the philosophy that is the cornerstone of today’s teams:
Dedication, Determination, Discipline
The first year of operation included one team, age 12U. The next year we expanded to three teams. In the following years, we exploded to five teams. 2006 season consisted of six teams with the addition of two more for the 2008 season. We continue on the original quest “to provide an environment that recognizes and enhances the abilities of talented youth baseball players, and to ignite their passion for higher level competition while preparing them for playing and excelling at the middle school and high school level.”
We continue to strive to achieve this goal and in working towards being the premiere youth baseball organization in this state. We believe the definition of premiere lies in highly competitive baseball, excellent instruction and coaching, year-round training, and an organization which creates an atmosphere of support, encouragement, and a true love for the game. |
